Österreichs Städte in Virtual Earth

35,13 Terrabyte Daten wurden gestern mit der neuen Image-Release für Virtual Earth publiziert. Damit sind jetzt auch erstmal österreichische Städte mit beeindruckender Auflösung vertreten.

Folgende Städte sind verfügbar:

  • Innsbruck
  • Klagenfurt
  • Linz
  • Salzburg
  • St. Pölten
  • Villach
  • Wels

Die Bilder sind keine einfachen Ortho-Aufnahmen sondern Oblique-Aufnahmen (Vogelperspektive/Schrägansicht).

Wenn sie die Städte in der maximalen Auflösung betrachten wollen, müssen sie die "Bird's Eye" Ansicht aktivieren.

Wenn sie im 3D Modus bis auf den Streetleven hineinzommen werden nach einer geringen Vorlaufzeit die Bilder verfügbar. Der weiße Rahmen markiert die Verfügbarkeit der hochauflösenden Bird's Eye Bilder.

 

Demnächst wird auch noch Wien dazukommen. Wien wird aber noch zusätzlich vollständig in 3D erscheinen.
